New Friends

Hi Friends!

I had so much to catch you up on last time that this blog seems so short! (My paws didn’t get tired writing this one!) I’ve been very busy, not with doctor visits, but with other visits!

My foster mom and some other nice people have been taking me and my puppy friends to different schools to play. They tell us that we’re there for the students, but we also get to play with each other. Then when I’m tired, I like to take a nap while letting the small humans give me pets. Life is good when you get all this attention! 

THEN I got to meet a guy named “Santa” who everyone was SO excited about. A nice photo lady took some pictures of me and Santa together. He not only gave me pets yummy treats, he asked me what I wish for this year! I wished for all the pups in the world to be loved and happy… and maybe a new bone!  That was so much fun… it made me forget all about the white hot pain for a little while. 

My foster mom says I get to see my favorite doctor friend again on Thursday! She’s so nice and her and her friends give me so many pets and tell me how cute I am. It sounds like I get to meet some new doctor friends, too! Did you know even some human doctor friends are coming?! I love new friends.  Mom is very nervous, but I don’t really know why since everyone there treats me like a princess. This is the visit that they are going to be doing something to make the white hot pain go away in my back. They keep calling it “surgery” and are telling me that they are putting a new piece into my back to make it feel better. The doctor friends are more excited than I am and keep saying this has not been done before. I still can’t imagine what it will feel like without the white hot pain. They keep telling me I will be so happy and pain free. How can I be happier than I am right now?
