Sable

Sable’s journey to her furever home was not an easy one. Sable came to us from Darlington after being found in a home with several other dogs, two of whom also made the trip north to TLC. Sable arrived on a Saturday evening just after the New Year. She arrived pregnant and had four puppies that very same night; sadly, only two survived - Scully and Mulder. Sable’s puppies were adopted in March, but Sable wasn’t ready yet. She was very protective of her puppies and still had to learn how to trust people. After many months of patience and work on the part of her fosters, Sable learned that there are good people in the world. After seven months in foster care, Sable was adopted on August 7, proving how powerful a little bit of patience and love can be.
