One Year of Chelsea!
Today is June 17th, which means I have spent an
entire year living my life at TLC Rescue.
I came to TLC Rescue at 3 months old, so it’s really all I know.
One full year of being cared for.
One full year of having humans watch over me.
One full year of getting visits with my doctor friends who made me feel so much better.
One full year of regular meals & all the play time I can imagine (except when I wasn’t allowed to play because of my surgeries, but that was only for a few days.)
Most importantly, it’s been one full year of being surrounded by love.
My foster mom said I should tell everyone a little more about me because what happened in the past is what happened, not who I am as a canine. So I guess I’d like everyone to know that I’m just excited about new adventures! I love car rides & taking walks in new places. I was probably a chef in another life because I just love the kitchen, snacks and trying new foods! I love humans (wouldn’t have said that a year ago! lol) They are the best and I’m making so many friends. I love everyone I meet and can’t wait to meet the ones I haven’t got to meet yet! Everyone’s just so nice! One of my favorite activities is going into the backyard, telling everyone about my day, and singing so everyone knows how happy I am! Oh, and toys! Toys are so fun. Sometimes I get in trouble because I don’t always share my toys with my foster siblings, but I just love playing with them so much! You understand, don’t you?
This past year has been full of so many things that have changed my life over and over again. My foster families and everyone at TLC have helped me understand how amazing life is! But my foster mom keeps telling me a furever home is even better! Don’t get me wrong… I can’t imagine spending this last year anywhere else. The doctor visits and the tests were a lot of work. But my back is healed and the doctors are so happy with my results and I feel more like myself than ever! And my foster mom says a furever home is even better?! I’m ready and SO excited!
