Deuce
Deuce, formerly known as Dunn, a one-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix, came into TLC’s care as a bundle of joy, full of energy, intelligence, and an even bigger personality. From the moment he arrived, his playful and loyal nature stood out. Energetic yet affectionate, Deuce thrived with plenty of mental stimulation and exercise, showing the true qualities of a Shepherd—intelligent, loving, and always up for an adventure. His age and energy combined made him seem like “too much” to some adopters, though.
“Nothing, and I mean nothing can bring his spirits down. He just has a goofy, fun personality that could brighten anyone’s day.”
Deuce’s potential didn’t go unnoticed, and today, he’s thriving as a certified service dog with Main Line Deputy Dog. His gentle demeanor, combined with his sharp mind, made him the perfect candidate for service dog training. After months of dedication, Deuce has started his new role as a companion to a military veteran, becoming the perfect soul dog for someone who truly needed him. We couldn’t be prouder of how far Deuce has come, and it’s an honor to see him featured in our calendar, showing just how far love, training, and patience can take a dog in need.
