Mama
From abandoned to becoming the heart of a loving home, Daisy (now Mama) has had quite the journey. Rescued with her 11 puppies—the “Wildflowers”—born on May 19, 2024, Mama has proven she’s not just a survivor but a star in her own right.
“She’s seriously the weirdest little dog ever,” her adopter shares with a laugh. “Her comedic timing, her little head toss before making a bad decision, and the way she chews her bones upside down with her paws in the air—everything about her makes me laugh every day.” It’s this goofy charm and unexpected personality that made Mama impossible to let go.
“I saw she was trying her best, and I gave her some grace and patience. And she turned into this happy little bouncy thing I get to hang out with every day. She genuinely looks at me with love, and it’s such an honor to have this little girl choose me.”
Mama has given just as much love in return, from fiercely protecting her cat sibling, Albus, to wiggling her whole body with excitement at home. With a yard to call her own, endless games of fetch, and sunny days to soak up, she’s thriving in her forever home.
“I wasn’t expecting to foster fail, but she’s made forever seem pretty okay to me,” her adopter adds. “She’s young, II’m young, and forever is a long time—but with her, it feels just right.”
Mama’s journey is a perfect reminder of why we rescue. Every dog deserves a chance to wiggle into someone’s heart and find their place in the world. 💕
