Frank
Frank’s journey is a powerful reminder of resilience and love.
This sweet boxer arrived at TLC on February 17th, full of happiness but secretly struggling with pain. Despite his joyful demeanor, Frank was limping and suffering from bone-on-bone friction in his hip joint. After a thorough vet examination, it was determined that Frank needed Femoral Head and Neck Excision (FHNE) surgery to alleviate the pain caused by his hip issues. The surgery would remove the "ball" part of his hip joint, offering significant pain relief and allowing him to walk without suffering. Despite his challenges, Frank remained his silly, affectionate self, wagging his tail and snuggling up with everyone he met.
“Frank changed our lives for the best. He also made us want to continue fostering because of the joy he brought us. As hard as it was to see him get adopted, we know he is in the best hands with his new family.”
From day one, Frank’s resilient spirit shone through. Although he was underweight and struggling physically, his sweet personality never faltered. He was known for his quirky behaviors—his eyes bugging out when he ate peanut butter, his loud snoring as he settled in beside you, and his joyful, slobbery licks.
Today, Frank is thriving in his forever home with Debra, who adopted him, and TLC is lucky to continue being part of his heartwarming journey.
“He is now free to be the great dog he was born to be. I’ve seen him relax and let his guard down now that he knows he’s safe and loved. ”
