We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate March than with “National Puppy Day” on the 23rd! While we love our puppies, we strive to save the lives of the pups who truly need saving. That’s where we meed Snow Cone’s litter. Would you have guessed that these three adorable pups were saved from a euthanasia list? Due to overcrowding and underfunding, their previous shelter made the difficult decision to euthanize this litter of puppies.

These three are part of the Snow Cones litter. Momma Snow Cone and her 6 puppies were saved by our rescue partner and transported safely to TLC where they discovered unconditional love in our TLC foster homes before finding the ultimate joy of their forever homes.

This story is unfortunately a common one. Many rescues, especially in the south, face an uphill battle: how to save as many dogs as possible without adequate resources, space, or funding.

That’s where we come in. We work with rescue partners to save dogs in need and get them on transports up north to TLC. We can only save as many dogs as we have foster volunteers for. Since our inception, we’ve rescued over 6,500 dogs.
