The book has closed on another year, the temperature has finally plummeted so it feels like Winter (perhaps we shouldn’t have whined about it being too warm for Winter), and we hope you had a safe & happy holiday season!
Little Miss Maddie, now Luna, has been adopted having made her new mom a repeat TLC adopter. That beautiful chocolate w/white pup she now calls her sister is none other than River FKA Corrie who was adopted back in September.
Also adopted this week were Maddie’s littermate, Midnight (now Jilly), Braelyn (mom to November’s Br litter) & Sadie the bloodhound (not pictured).
Of course, we have some updates to share too
Happy New a Year to you, your family, and everyone at TLC Rescue.
I can see Sassy and Newman tearing around the backyard in the nice weather. Mae West
just likes to rest (I have her on my couch with an electric blanket right now); but Newman and Sassy seem to have the same energy level.
Sassy on the doggy “temperpedic” bed and Newman on my laundry just taken out of the dryer!
Cleopatra FKA Rae
Cleopatra (Rae) is now 8 months old, 65 lbs and full of personality. We love her dearly!!
Marley is doing great. He gets into trouble sometimes, I guess I just need to get used to having a puppy again. LOL. He likes to cuddle and is so sweet. He loves our grandson, they are partners in crime. We love him dearly, thanks so much for giving him to us.
Vincent Van Dog aka Vince
We are loving Vince!!! He has grown quite a bit and is a healthy-happy pup. Loves to play in water and enjoys playing with other dogs at the park. Enjoy the pictures!!
Thanks again for your help in bring Vince into our lives!
Macoby FKA Edgar
Macoby here just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Mine is going to be amazing. I love my new home and adore my big sister Willow.
Corey FKA Kyle
Happy New Year from Corey aka Kyle. I am doing great working very hard on my training. I love my family and they adore me. I am warm, cozy, and loved everyday thanks to all of you.
Fred FKA Apollo
Fred FKA Apollo’s foster mom visited with him this week-end and told us “He looks great! Seems like he is slightly taller, definitely more filled out, and his coat is really good. He is so happy with his nice home and family. Still very treat motivated, still won’t look at the
camera (took 7 shots to get these two) but is over his attachment to me which is good. Apparently he is a big deal in the neighborhood where everyone has to stop and pet him or give him a treat. Everyone knows Fred while Amy has been reduced to “Fred’s mom.”
And apparently he was very good with the Christmas decorations. However he would sit in front of the tree and his endlessly waggy tail would knock things off of it.”
I wanted to let you know Ellis is doing great. We decided to keep his name, it fit him well. Here are a few pictures of Ellis and his latest adventures we have taken him on. We could not be happier with our selection, thank you for making our family complete.
Kayla & Trixie
Kayla and Trixie are doing well in their forever home together!
Rogue FKA Breann (Braelyn’s pup)
I hope you had a great time over the Holidays. I just wanted to send you some updated pictures of Rogue (Breann). Her and Mason are getting along so well and love being in each others company.
She’s doing fine, and has decided that my husband is the greatest person in her whole world, and that he should not ever leave her sight! (We, the other 5 lesser mere mortals in her life are jealous, but she will lower herself to cuddle with us if we’re the only choice and he’s at work) She likes car and truck rides, but not those nasty biscuits they hand out at the bank – far beneath her palate, apparently. She met and had a play date with the neighbor’s dog for the first time today, we had told her in advance that Maggie would probably be her best doggie friend, and they seemed to get along well.
My son posted this pic, with love, about our rescuing of a dog in need of a home. He just showed it to me and apparently it got a lot of likes. That’s obviously all well and good but more importantly, I thought, was the message that TLC was the catalyst for our union with Teru, our new family member.
Here are some extra holiday pics that were shared with us
