Clooney now Duke

Clooney now Duke

It was a good week for our adult dogs, who are often “puppy blocked” when it comes to adoptions.

It was an especially good week for our visually impaired pups as handsome boy Clooney (now Duke) & she who should man the kissing booth, Roxy both found wonderful furever homes.

Also making it final this week were Foxy (who has TLC alumnus, Kona Ealy, as a new bro), Ginger, Kingston, Marshall, Shay, Susie & Trooper. Congratulations to all of our new families!

If you’d like to join the extended TLC family by adopting one of our dogs, please apply today. We have some fabulous dogs & puppies that would love to have a family of their own!  Please note that, due to the Memorial Day holiday, we do not have a meet & greet scheduled next week-end but we are still processing applications and scheduling private/adoption meetings with approved adopters.

We had some updates & visit from alumni this week.  Not to play favorites but we absolutely have to start with a photo of Jack shared on our Facebook page because it is a stunning photo taken by a 12-year old with quite the eye.

Keira FKA Lily

Keira FKA Lily

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that Lily — now re-named Keira, which  means “dark-haired lady” in Irish — is doing wonderfully in her new home.  She’s been an angel and has settled in so easily.  My dog Rory has fallen for her too, and they’ve been having some good wrestle-mania play.  Keira also loves playing with her many stuffy toys and is fascinated by my cat (who she’s learning is not a stuffy toy).  I’ve introduced her to hiking on the Fairmount Park trails, and she was thrilled at all the sights and smells along the Wissahickon Creek.  Oh, I also found a treat that she will actually eat (as opposed to just taking delicately and then dropping on the floor) — Zuke’s Mini Naturals, salmon flavor.  She will just about stand on her head for those.

Jenn, thanks again to you and everyone at TLC for taking such good care of her and for sending her my way!

Lucy FKA Bella Lou

Hello- just wanted to give you an update on Lucy (AKA BELLA LOU). She is doing great. She has not spent one night in a crate. We didn’t even buy one. She loves her walks. She makes friends with everyone. She enjoyed running around in my Mom’s backyard on Mother’s Day. She just got a nice spa day yesterday with a bath, nails clipped, and a blow dry. We are totally in love with her.

Simon (adult hound mix)

Thanks for getting in touch to see how we are doing as Simon settles in! We kept his name, we all think it fits him quite well 🙂

We are doing great, it’s hard to think about a time when we did not have Simon in our family.

Thank you and everyone at TLC for being exceptionally kind and professional, the adoption process was such a good experience for us.

I’ll be sure to post an update photo on Facebook soon!

Angus (FKA Dopio FKA Arden)

That cutie-patootie Angus is visiting with his foster family and having a blast. In addition to getting the chance to play with former foster sister & brother Kacie & Kody, he also got a chance to play with TLC alum Dinah (FKA Di), TLC adoptable Laker (aka Bear) and friend of the family, Cyan.  Needless to say, he’s enjoying his vacation for sure!
