Another busy week and we’re now already half-way through November – time certainly flies when you’re busy with puppies! We’re happy to have had a hand to help some great families add a new loved one to their home. Sweet little Sadie was one of the lucky dogs celebrating gotcha day this week. Sadie is recovering from hip surgery (she had FHO which is the same kind of surgery that TLC alumnus Mustang had; luckily Sadie only needed one hip done) and is excited to be in a new family to help her with some physical therapy.
In addition to Sadie, the following dogs also moved into new homes this week: Annie, Blair, Bridget, Bree, Daisy, Ellen (now Emi), Ellie Mae, Ellis, Emma, Ewok, Faye, Freddie, Haiti, Joy, Keaton, Trixie, & Spike. Last but not least, Adelle (now Luna) was inadvertently missed in last week’s happy tail posting so we included her family portrait in this week’s gallery.
We also have some updates to share:
Pixie VanderBark FKA Allie
I attached a photo of her out shopping with me lol . we changed her name to Pixie VanderBark and we are crazy in love with her. Her big sister Oly Crumb Bottom has taken her under her wing and the are so bonded now.
Roxi FKA Lucy
Lucy has settled in very nicely! She’s actually playing right now with Dollie the border collie. She’s been sleeping with us at night and cuddles right up against us. The kids adore her and she’s getting used to them as well. She was also playing nicely with our kitten today! We have chosen a new name for her – she is now known as Roxi and is getting used to that too. Thanks for the reminders below, I will definitely take care of those. I’ve attached some pictures of her since she’s come home.
Thanks for all the work you do! We were excited to see that we were the 1000th adoption through your rescue!
Savannah’s first update…all is going well! Here’s a picture of her with her new brother, Cody.
Cocoa FKA Kaitlyn
Cocoa FKA Kaitlyn is doing great in her forever home.
Jessie FKA Jaden
Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for bringing Jessie into our lives. She is my daughter’s buddy!
Ember FKA Jennifer
Ember has become a loved and loving member of our family. We couldn’t be happier. Thanks to TLC we have this opportunity. We look forward to helping more in the future. Thanks again.
We’re very happy for all of our new families and alumni, and hope to see you all at our Holiday Bazaar on December 6th. We’ll have pictures with Santa and, yes, we’ll even have some yarmulkes & tallit for those of you looking forward to the first Candle lighting for Chanukah that night as well!
