Dare we say it? It’s actually starting to feel like Spring and we’re pretty sure the dogs aren’t the only ones who are excited about that! We enjoyed the weather at a great meet & greet today, and we’re looking forward to changing up this week’s meal-plan by dining for donations at the LongHorne Steakhouse in Exton on Tuesday and bringing some adoptables to Malvern Stroll on Thursday night.
As for adoptions, it was a great week. Angel hit the veritable jackpot with a mommy who’s a veterinarian and a sweet life living on a farm with a menagerie of animals! Angel’s not the only lucky
duck dog this week, Clarice (who has changed her name to Roma Jade), Faye, Lois, Sophie & Willow celebrated gotcha day too.
We also received some nice updates:
Topo FKA Clyde
Topo (FKA Clyde) is doing great! He has been holding steady at 52 lbs for the past few months. He’s still afraid of trains and thunder, but has conquered his fear of buses and trucks. He’s a delightful dog, full of spunk, and we feel so lucky that he found his way into our home! Thanks again!
Huckleberry Hound FKA Luke
Huck is adjusting well
Remington FKA Danny
Just a quick update on Remington (formerly Danny). He is 8 months old now and he loves going to the dog park and going on runs. This past Sunday he graduated from his Basic Manners level 1 class at Dog Training Club of Chester County! We are hoping to continue taking him to classes. Remi is a total cuddle bug and loves sleeping in bed with us at night!
Tori’s dad sent us a then & now pic for Tori’s adotiversary
Violet FKA Clover (aka Sophie)
One year ago today we brought Violet (aka Sophie/Clover) home. I want to thank you again for taking so much time with us to make sure she was the right dog for us. Violet is such a special dog, she is our first rescue and everyone I talk to that also has a rescue says the same thing, there is something about them. It is as if she is thankful. Thank you again, we are thankful to have this wonderful little girl.
We ran into Max’s family at today’s meet & greet, but Max wasn’t with them at the time. Even though he didn’t join the family, we do have a picture of his graduation from level 1 training with our own Deb Murray at Pepper’s Paws. TLC alumnus Bree graduated from the same class.
