It’s been a whirlwind of a week that included a fun appearance on FOX29’s Fox Fursday segment, a bunch of adoptions and today’s Dips 4 Hips charity dog wash to raise money to pay for Mustang’s hip replacement surgery. We had a great time at the fundraiser but we still have some pictures to review so we’ll post about that event tomorrow. In the meantime, we know you really want to know who was adopted this week!
Randy has been kicking around for a while but he finally met his match this week and seems to be doing very well in his new home:
He’s doing great! He’s fine with ted and Ted is good with him too.and no issues with the cats. He cried on the way home for an hour and a half! It was heartbreaking. But all good now. He follows me everywhere and last night he slept on my pillow behind my head. Just in love with him! Thank you for taking such good care of him. I’ll be in touch.
Bali, Batman, Irish, Isaac, Italia, Merle, Mitchell (now Hunter), Reine, Taco & Tad also celebrated gotcha days this week.
We have some nice updates as well:
Lucy FKA Ruby
Our Lucy Lou.. Use to be Ruby.. Has most recently become our new “southern belle!” About 2 weeks ago our family made the move to south GA, which she handled greatly! & is adjusting well to her new home.. & even met her new 6 week old cousin, Elsa the beagle! We love her more everyday! & are so thankful for To Love A Canine for rescuing her!!
Cheyenne is loving life! We are forever grateful that you rescued her from South Carolina. She is such an amazing dog. So smart and friendly.
Sweets FKA Bara
We are doing really well. She is having great full nights of independent sleeping in her crate already! House training and chewing is going a little slower though;)
The kids have named her “Sweets” and we have been on many outdoor adventures already, like hiking and playing in a creek. She has met a number of family and friends, as well as some four-legged friends, and gets along with everyone very well.
Scott and Dani are enamored, especially Scott who has been so very involved in her care. All the humans in the family are participating in feedings and walkings.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to add Sweets to our family and the support. Below are a couple of pictures.
Odie FKA Gus
Odie is 7 months old now! We we blessed with this little pup in February. He was transported up north by some very brave people in the midst of a snow storm. We love him so much (I’ll be sending along a cute video of what we think his voice sounds like and some glamour shots, too)! Today was his big day- he got neutered. While I’m hanging around the house with him, I thought I would pass along his paperwork (attached) and inquire about anything else required for the neutering deposit refund.
He’s the best and we love him more that we thought we would! Thank you for bringing him into our family! 🙂
