We are very heartened that our Mini Paws Junior Volunteer program was mentioned in the recent article by Philly Voice reporter Elisa Lala as one of four ways people can help alleviate animal shelter overload.
Our Mini Paws program is set up to instill not only a love and respect for animals, and to teach the kids how to act around dogs & responsible pet ownership, it’s also a program set up to give them the confidence to educate their peers. As we all know, children are innately generous so our Mini Paws love to get involved in or even develop their own donation drives to help TLC but to also help the shelters from which we pull, local community organizations and, currently, local schools such as their ongoing book drive for Chester Community Charter School East Campus. We know they can, and will, accomplish so much more in the future.
If you’d like your child to get involved in a fun volunteering opportunity, please consider submitting a volunteer application in their name.
